Local Kids Are All Smiles ~ Rancho Dental Group teams up with Calvary Chapel and Dreaming God’s Dream Church to provide FREE dentistry to local kids in need ~ ~ Celebrating the American Dental Association’s (ADA) National Children’s Dental Health Month ~ ~ Free dentistry to “Give Kids a Smile!®” ~ Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (February 3, 2006) – On Friday, February 3, Rancho Dental Group in Rancho Santa Margarita provided a day of free dentistry to local kids in need. They teamed up with Calvary Chapel and Dreaming God’s Dream Church to help kids with poor or neglected oral health. Dr. Reagan and his team are excited to celebrate the American Dental Association’s (ADA®) National Children’s Dental Health Month throughout February. To start, they sought to serve their community by offering local kids an incredible chance to simply smile. Inspired by the ADA®’s annual call to “Give Kids A Smile!®” on February 3, Rancho Dental Group worked to find kids in need that could really benefit from free dentistry. The office then connected with local organizations to find kids that could greatly take advantage of this opportunity. After identifying some kids in need, they scheduled a day of dental treatment and education in their office for all kids involved. They performed exams, digital x-rays, fillings, sealants, and extractions to these kids who were in desperate need of these services. For some of the kids, the visit to Rancho Dental Group was their first ever trip to the dentist. Furthermore, to continue the month long celebration, the office is also having a coloring contest for all kids who visit Rancho Dental Group in February, in which the lucky winner will receive an Apple iPod. Rancho Dental Group is an inspiration as a local company truly committed to “serving” and giving back to their community. Their goal isn’t just to serve their dental patients, but to serve in all areas where they can make a difference. Humbled by the experience, touched by the appreciation of the organizations they teamed up with, and overjoyed by the thankfulness of the kids, the office considered the day merely just another way to “serve”.
