CALTRANS ADOPT-A-RAMP PROGRAM
Full Description:
This new program will provide an avenue for individuals, organizations, cities, or businesses to help maintain on and off ramps within the State Highway System in Orange County.
The Adopt-A-Ramp extension will provide an opportunity to promote civic responsibility, community pride, and camaraderie within organizations.
Ramps will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and others will be placed on a waiting list. Adopt-A-Highway encroachment permits will be issued for a period of five years. This is a required permit that interested applicants must obtain prior to securing an Adopt-A-Ramp location. All permits will fall under the Adopt-A-Highway permit process. Multiple adoptions by a single group are allowed, and groups may perform the work themselves or they may have the work performed by a professional business on their behalf.
