2011 Lifeguard Tryouts

Tryout Dates & Time: March 18, April 1, April 8, May 6 - Fridays at 6:30PM - Please allow 1-2 hours for the tryout and interview.

Lifeguard Tryouts are open to anyone interested in working for Safe Swim. Candidates must be at least 15 years of age, able to demonstrate 300-yards continuous swim, using the front crawl and breaststroke, and able to retrieve a submerged 10 lb weight from 7 feet of water, then swim 20-yards with the weight using legs only. Once candidates have completed the swim portion of the tryout, an interview will follow. Candidates must complete the online employment application (below) prior to the tryout. Participation in the lifeguard tryouts is voluntary and is not a guarantee of employment.
