A DOG DAY AFTERNOON

Full Description:

When: Sunday, February 18th

Where: Monte Vista Park

Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Every dog has his day so save the date for SAMLARC's 1st ever Dog Day Afternoon! Grab your furry best friend and join us at the Monte Vista Park from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for an opportunity for you to meet other canine families and friends! Dog experts will also be onsite to answer any questions and share new tricks with even the oldest dogs!

Other afternoon activities for all 4-legged and 2-legged attendees include:

• Dog Talent Contest beginning at 1:30 p.m.
• Puppy Potty Training from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. provided by Pet Smart
• Dog Costume Parade at 3:00 p.m.

Other activities ongoing throughout the afternoon include:

• Agility Course provided by Wags & Wiggles
• Obedience & Grooming Demonstrations provided by My Doggies Daycare
• Information about Vaccinations, Micro Chipping & Coyotes
• Bobbing for Hot Dogs
• Onsite Pet Adoptions
• And More!

A Dog Day Afternoon is open to all SAMLARC members, their visitors and of course the guests of honor, the PETS! Cost to enter the Animal Costume Parade is $5 per doggy entered; all proceeds will go to a local area animal shelter. Please keep your pups on their leashes and come out for this doggy play date with new doggy friends!
