Rancho Santa Margarita Forms First Competitive Soccer Club
Rancho Santa Margarita is well enough known as a city with a perennially competitive high school team. Club players however, have to travel elsewhere in Southern Orange County to play in CSL. To meet the needs of the community and the demand from local players and teams, the first competitive soccer club in Rancho Santa margarita was launched in October. Rancho Santa Margarita Soccer Club (RSMSC) was started with a vision of putting the city of Rancho Santa Margarita on the competitive youth soccer map. RSMSC is a non-profit entity whose vision is to nourish and develop local players and teams by providing the highest level of professional training and coaching available, and creating an environment where local youth can flourish by using their skills and talent both on and off the field. " Talented soccer players from our city are driving 40 minutes in order to obtain professional training and improve their skills. We want to keep them here by offering a higher level of training, right here in their own back yard”. Said club director Toki Rathor. Over the next few months RSMSC will be looking for talented and athletic players from U9-U19 to train and tryout for our teams.
